Job Description We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Fire Safety Manager to join our organization in Doha, Qatar. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all fire safety operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead initiatives to maintain the highest safety standards across our facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership capabilities, comprehensive knowledge of fire safety systems, and a commitment to creating a secure work environment for all employees and visitors.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive fire safety programs and protocols aligned with Qatar's fire safety regulations and international standards
- Lead fire and life safety compliance across design coordination, construction, inspections, testing and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with QCD, NFPA, project specifications and airport fire safety requirements.
- Review and monitor fire safety systems, fire stopping, evacuation routes, life safety provisions and authority-related submissions.
- Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of fire suppression systems, alarm systems, and emergency evacuation equipment

- Coordinate fire safety interfaces with architectural, MEP, special systems, operations and authority stakeholders.
- Support inspections, testing, commissioning, approvals and closeout of fire and life safety systems.
- Lead emergency response planning and coordinate fire drills to ensure organizational readiness
- Investigate fire incidents and near-miss events, documenting findings and implementing preventive measures
- Manage and mentor fire safety personnel, providing training and performance guidance
- Prepare and present fire safety reports to senior management and regulatory authorities
- Ensure compliance with local fire codes, building regulations, and occupational health and safety standards
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including fire departments and safety consultants, to enhance safety protocols
- Stay current with evolving fire safety regulations and industry best practices in the region
Qualifications- Minimum 12 years of professional experience in fire safety management or related safety disciplines
- Proven expertise in fire safety systems, including suppression, detection, and alarm systems
- Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations, building codes, and occupational health and safety standards applicable to Qatar and the Middle East
- Demonstrated experience conducting fire risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety audits
- Proficiency in emergency response planning and incident investigation methodologies
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Advanced proficiency in fire safety documentation, reporting, and data analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English
- Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Professional fire safety certifications (such as Certified Fire Protection Specialist or equivalent)
- Experience working in large-scale industrial, commercial, or institutional facilities
- Familiarity with international fire safety standards and best practices
- Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external regulatory agencies
