Job Description We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Bangkok, Thailand. • Perform structural analysis and design of projects utilizing steel, reinforced concrete, and other structural materials in accordance with applicable codes and standards
• Develop and prepare comprehensive technical reports that clearly communicate complex structural engineering concepts to clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams
• Utilize commercially available design software packages and finite element analysis (FEA) tools to model, analyze, and optimize structural systems
• Conduct independent technical reviews and quality control assessments of structural designs and calculations prepared by team members
• Manage project deliverables throughout the entire project lifecycle, coordinating technical delivery with internal teams and external clients
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to integrate structural solutions into overall project designs
• Participate in site inspections and assessments to evaluate existing structures and identify design requirements
• Develop project budgets, schedules, and resource plans to ensure efficient and timely project delivery
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety standards, building regulations, and sustainability requirements
• Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies to support successful project outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in structural design and analysis
• Demonstrated proficiency in structural design using current building codes and standards (IBC, ACI, AISC, or equivalent international standards)
• Strong experience with finite element analysis (FEA) software and commercial design packages
• Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and CAD software
• Solid understanding of project management principles and practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare clear technical reports and proposals
• Experience in client engagement and relationship management
• Knowledge of construction contracts and professional service agreements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Experience with structural assessment and rehabilitation of existing structures is a plus
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and green building standards is desirable
• Willingness to work on a 2 years contract
