Job Description Job Purpose Lead site supervision, interface management and reporting for 765 kV/400 kV GIS or AIS substations and associated ±500 kV HVDC terminal station works. Key Responsibilities
- Lead PMC supervision for all assigned substation and terminal-station activities.
- Coordinate civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire-protection, control, protection, SCADA, telecom and auxiliary-system interfaces.
- Monitor execution of 765 kV and 400 kV GIS/AIS switchyard, control building and associated balance-of-plant works.
- Coordinate HVDC terminal-station interfaces involving converter transformers, converter valves, converter hall, AC/DC filters, reactors, control and protection systems and monitoring systems.
- Review construction sequencing, installation methodology, erection plans and commissioning schedules.
- Coordinate OEM document review and resolution of site-interface issues.
- Monitor delivery, storage, preservation, installation and testing of major equipment.
- Verify readiness of foundations, buildings, trenches, earthing and utilities before equipment erection.
- Monitor contractor resources, productivity, milestones and work-front availability.
- Review technical queries, RFIs, site modifications and red-line drawings.
- Ensure effective implementation of approved ITPs, method statements and HSE requirements.
- Coordinate outage, shutdown, interface and energization requirements with the Client and utilities.
- Lead daily, weekly and monthly substation progress meetings.
- Monitor pre-commissioning, system integration, interlock checks and commissioning readiness.
- Coordinate punch-list closure, as-built documentation, O&M manuals and handover dossiers.
- Prepare consolidated substation and HVDC terminal-station progress reports.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years of EHV substation construction and commissioning experience.
- Experience in 400 kV or higher GIS/AIS substations.
- Familiarity with HVDC converter stations, converter transformers, reactors, filters and control and protection systems.
- Strong capability in multidisciplinary interface and contractor management
