Performance Media Strategist
AdobeThe Media Strategist will manage both top-of-funnel (Demand Creation) and bottom-of-funnel (Acquisition) paid media. They will drive the strategy and improve efficiency to meet and surpass target benchmarks in the Japan C&P (Creativity and Efficiency) business. Work in close partnership with key team members and managers across global/local Paid Media Team, Adobe.com Team, and Customer Marketing Team to build and bring to fruition the strategy for Creative Cloud and Document Cloud offerings on Adobe.com. You will report to the Paid Media Manager in Japan.
What You’ll Do
- Plan, operate, and manage top-of-funnel and bottom-of-funnel media campaign activities including Online/Offline TV commercials, SEM, Display, and Paid Social programs in Japan aligning with the campaign marketing team, agency, and COE team to improve overall media returns and increase value.
- Weekly program responsibilities include, but are not limited to – weekly performance reports, budget pacing, management in deployment, launching tests, ad creative updates, results presentations, data analyses with insights from Adobe Analytics and reports from COE team and agency.
- Relentlessly expand media capabilities with various types of media testing
- Provide data analysis and insights to develop the Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
- Provide input and feedback for any testing of copy messaging, keywords(SEM), creatives, targets, media and LPs.
- Stay current with all Digital and Non-digital ad industry trends and regularly train yourself for emerging ad/analytics technologies, opportunities and guidelines.
- Assist with Search Engine/Adobe Ad Cloud configuration, reporting and automated bid algorithms.
You will be Succeeded
- 5+ years’ experience in media buying, managing enterprise-level campaigns with proven results in B2C performance marketing.
- Native fluency in Japanese and business proficiency in English.
- Expertise in Google Ads, programmatic platforms, social platforms, and audience targeting.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations.
- Highly organized, diligent, and capable of balancing multiple ad hoc requests.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to work independently and within a team.
- A love of data and attention to detail - highly organized and analytical.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proven history of self-direction, creativity, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with expert Excel skills.
- Degree or equivalent experience in a business/marketing-related or analytical field preferred.
