• Lead and execute the Medical Affairs strategy for assigned Oncology assets—both pipeline and marketed products—aligned with brand and therapeutic area objectives.
• Partner strategically with Marketing, Commercial, and Market Access teams, providing scientific input to brand strategy, promotional materials, and product launches.
• Build and maintain credible relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), serving as AbbVie's trusted scientific liaison in Oncology.
• Drive innovative research concepts and clinical data generation to address key scientific questions and strengthen product evidence.
• Deliver scientific and technical training to internal teams, ensuring they have current, high-quality medical knowledge.
• Lead team development—onboarding, mentoring, performance coaching, and training assessments—to build a high-engagement, growth-oriented culture.
· Medical Expertise: Medical Doctor (MD) preferred, with a specialization or strong interest in Hematology, Oncology, or Internal Medicine. Must be committed to continuously developing expert knowledge in these therapeutic areas.
· Industry Experience: Proven track record in the pharmaceutical industry and market, including people management experience.
· Clinical & Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of clinical research methodology and current regulatory/legislative requirements.
· Stakeholder Management: Exceptional networking, diplomacy, and stakeholder engagement skills.
· Integrity & Compliance: Strong commitment to scientific quality, integrity, and regulatory compliance.
· Communication: Proficiency in written and spoken English.
