As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Coordinating accurate and timely administration of complex and highly confidential information related to compensation, benefits, performance, and other areas of HR
Communicating tactfully and professionally at all levels and exercising discretion concerning confidential and sensitive information
Providing guidance and support to all employees and management, conducting orientations and training, preparing employee engagement activities, and other related activities
Influencing the enforcement and adherence to policies, as well as exercising the authority to independently act within those guidelines
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Three (3) combined years of experience in human resources, administrative support, and/or clerical role in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Possess expertise or education equivalent to that which would be obtained in a bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Experience using HR systems, including Workday
Advanced experience in the HR function
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information
Ability and willingness to resolve employee issues and exercise judgement to elevate when necessary
Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work in Hutchinson, MN.

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
